The licenser is the person who owns the map.

 

All maps are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution CC BY-NC-ND. This means that the map CANNOT be adapted (remix, tranform or build upon the material) for any purpose, even commerically. This means that it CANNOT be sold or utilized in any way for commerical or for profit use without expressed premisson from licenser (VERNIKA MONK- INFORMATION TO KNOWLEDGE).

When you ORDER a map it is under Creative Commons Attribution CC BY-NC-ND. This means that you can share it with anyone in your business or for personnal use, but you cannot change it in any way and if you allow others to use it you must provide the CC BY-NC-ND license, attributed to (VERNIKA MONK-HUMANITARIANMAPS.COM), as it is my work.  In other words, you (the purchaser) can utilize the map commerically within your business or for personal use, but anyone you share it with outside of your business or personal use must purchase from me (VERNIKA MONK- HUMANITARIANMAPS.COM (CC BY-NC-ND))  under these terms, if they wish to utilize it, but can be viewed from you as you have purchased the map.

DATA:

However, any data on the map can be utlized for free. This means any data on the map can be utilized in anyway. The data is licensed under CC-BY-IGO, or CC-BY or Public Domain. This means you are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and or adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially. The license terms are that you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Each map contains its' own data source, therefore, the data license is provided at the bottom of each map, which provide the author of the data with the Creative Commons Attribution license, public domain, etc.
